Many self-storage facilities offer long-term rental deals. We often see storage places offer cheaper rates if the customer commits to renting a space for 6 or even 12 months. We are frequently asked if we offer the same type of deal.
The short answer is that we don’t offer a lower rate if you were to rent one of our storage units. But we have our reasons.
Rather than getting customers to rent from us because of a special promotion, we have decided to focus on customer service. By providing a quality storage facility, attentive staff and state of the art security, we feel that that is enough to get anyone to rent with us! Therefore, our customers are more than welcome to rent a storage facility for one month, two months, or as long as they wish! Flexibility is important to us and our customers!

How Big Is The Entrance?
So, let’s say that you have a large moving truck with your valuables and you are going to put everything into a storage unit. You have movers to help you and you plan to just drive in, unload and send the movers and the truck on their way, right? Well, that is certainly an ideal situation but that doesn’t always happen.
You see, some storage facilities have smaller entrances. This means that in some cases you can’t actually drive a large truck up to your storage unit. You have to get as close as you can and then potentially hand carry your belongings to your rented unit.
If you can’t drive your large truck into the storage facility easily, it will take you longer to unload. If you have movers this could potentially mean more money out of your pocket to pay the movers for their time. (Time costs money.)
So, when you are in the market for a new storage facility, you may want to ask about the size of the entrance if you have a large truck. (The entrance of Dove Valley Storage is wide enough to handle even large trucks.)
